An Arab civil rights organization claims “American Sniper” is leading to death threats against Muslims.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee sent letters to director Clint Eastwood and star Bradley Cooper, asking them to condemn such threats.

"A majority of the violent threats we have seen over the past few days are a result of how Arabs and Muslims are depicted in American Sniper," American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee president Samer Khalaf wrote.

Khalaf was on “The Kelly File” tonight, where he explained that the group has received a “significant uptick” in hate mail since the movie premiered.

While Khalaf admitted he hasn’t seen the movie, he said these letters mention the film.

Megyn Kelly argued that it doesn’t mean that the movie has done anything wrong.

“There are lunatics out there [...] not every lunatic and their rhetoric can be controlled,” she said.
