There was “no resolve” in a meeting between New York City police unions and Mayor Bill de Blasio, according to Patrolmen's Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch.

Lynch told the media that the union leaders’ main concerns are the safety of police officers and citizens.

“There were a number of discussions […] there was no resolve, and our thought here today is that actions speak louder than words, and time will tell.”
