It looks like it really will be a "year without a Santa Claus" for students at one elementary school.

After a parent complaint, Jennifer Ford, the principal of Andrew Peabody School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, sent a letter to parents, saying, "I am writing to you today to inform you of a change in our concert series this winter. Our First through Fourth grade concert as well as our Kindergarten concert will not include a visit from Santa Claus this year."

Many parents are outraged about the last-minute decision to remove Saint Nick from the concert series.

One of them, Robert Thompson, said on "Fox and Friends" this morning that it's hard to understand why anyone would want to get rid of Santa.

He explained that the decision was made behind closed doors with no input from the public.

"I come from a city that celebrates diversity and tolerance and I think at its base this decision reeks of intolerance," Thompson said.
