Judge Andrew Napolitano was on “The Kelly File” tonight, where he said New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is “profoundly mishandling” tensions between the NYPD and protesters.

The New York City police union is now calling on its members to fill out a form to keep de Blasio from attending the funerals of police killed in the line of duty.

“His job is not to take sides in this,” Napolitano said of de Blasio. “His job is to put his arms around everybody and bring people together. The city cannot exist without police. Without police, the city would be a crazy, lawless frontier.”

Napolitano charged de Blasio with accelerating and exacerbating the situation.
