A group of nuns, the Little Sisters of the Poor, are taking President Obama to court over the contraception mandate in ObamaCare, which forces religious groups to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions.

The nuns face millions of dollars in IRS fines because they cannot comply with the government’s mandate.

Daniel Blomberg, the lawyer for the Little Sisters of the Poor, was on "On The Record" tonight, and he explained that this is a group that has for 175 years taken care of the outcasts of society, not just the elderly, but the impoverished elderly.

"They can't violate their faith as a part of doing their ministry, but that's exactly what the federal government is telling them they have to do, they have to violate their faith just to continue with the service they've been doing for 175 years."

"Federal courts nationwide have been saying, 'No.'"
