Former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffrey went “On The Record” tonight, where he said that President Barack Obama was warned about ISIS nearly a year ago, yet the administration didn't do much.

Jeffrey said that experts on Iraq warned about the threats of ISIS as early as November and December of last year. He added that when Fallujah fell, it became very clear that ISIS was a threat to the stability of Middle East. Yet Jeffrey said the administration "did almost nothing" until June of this year.

Of the current strategy, Jeffrey said, “This is a recipe for the status quo as I see it. I would prefer American ground troops in some numbers to deal with the conventional threat that ISIS is posing.”
