After 16 years away, legendary comedian and actress Carol Burnett is returning to The Great White Way.

Michael Tammero, host of In the FOXlight, recently caught up with the iconic performer to discuss her must-see Broadway show, "Love Letters."

Burnett explained that the play tells the story of the relationship between two people exclusively through letters they have written.

That means that Burnett and co-star Brian Dennehy never touch, make eye contact or interact during the course of the show.

"So, you have the make that chemistry happen," Burnett said, adding that it is made easier by the fact that she's doing the show for the third time with Dennehy, who she described as "one of the best actors in the world."

Burnett also revealed her favorite characters to play on "The Carol Burnett Show" and what interesting stipulations were set by a benefactor who gave her $1,000 to move to New York to start her career.
