O'Reilly: CDC Dir. Turned Down 'Factor' Invite to Defend 'Indefensible' Position
Today on "The Real Story," Bill O'Reilly reiterated his thoughts on dealing with Ebola in the U.S., saying, “There’s not one reason on this earth to allow any West Africans in here right now.”
However, CDC Director Tom Frieden says otherwise. He said that sealing off the border won’t eliminate risk, and that the only way to get rid of the Ebola threat is to control it in Africa.
“We invited the doctor on tonight and he turned us down, so number one, he doesn’t want to defend that position, and number two, the reason he doesn’t want to defend it is that it’s indefensible," O'Reilly said.
O'Reilly also discussed his upcoming interview with former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, slated for Tuesday.
In his new book, Panetta claims the U.S. looked weak when Barack Obama decided not to go into Syria last year after the Syrian president used chemical weapons against his own people.
“I have lots and lots of questions for him,” Bill O’Reilly told Gretchen Carlson today on “The Real Story,” describing Panetta as an honest man, not a spinner.
