After the Seahawks' trilling overtime victory over the Denver Broncos in a Super Bowl rematch, the drama continued when cornerback DeShawn Shead proposed to his girlfriend at midfield.

NBC Sports reporter Alex Flanagan was there to capture the moment (photo above) as Shead got down on one knee with some of his teammates, including Richard Sherman, looking on.

Flanagan also posted a video of the scene on YouTube: 

The Seahawks had just won in overtime 26-20 on a Marshawn Lynch touchdown after Peyton Manning led a last-second drive to tie the game for Denver.

Shead posted a photo of the happy couple as well on Instagram, writing "She said yes!"

His wife-to-be, Jessica Martinez, posted the following shot of the stadium scoreboard and wrote, "best day of my life."
