Rick Leventhal reported live from northeast Pennsylvania, where a manhunt is continuing for a seventh day for a "survivalist" wanted for the murder of a state trooper.

Eric Frein is suspected in last Friday's ambush on a police barracks, which also wounded another officer. Using search dogs and aerial assets, police and the FBI are searching for 31-year-old Frein in rugged terrain and heavily wooded areas.

Authorities say they believe they're closing in on Frein, who is considered heavily armed and very dangerous. Two school districts in the area have been shut down amid the search.

Authorities have to go through hundreds of remote homes and hunting cabins in and around the remote woods, Leventhal said.

Frein has been added to the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list, with a $175,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
