Two Marine Corps veterans are walking nearly 300 miles to Washington, D.C., in support of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, a Marine Jailed in Mexico.
Lance Cpl. Terry Sharpe called into “On The Record” tonight, reporting that he is about 100 miles from the White House and expects to reach it in seven days.
Once he and his walking partner, Allen Brown, arrive, they intend to deliver a verbal message to President Barack Obama.
“I want to tell the president to make that call, I’m bringing a phone to him […] Free Sgt. Tahmooressi,” Sharpe said.
