On The Real Story today, Gretchen Carlson shared her take on what President Obama should say during his address on ISIS tonight.

Carlson pointed out that tomorrow will mark 13 years since 9/11, and the threat of foreign and domestic terrorism is at an all-time high.

Recent events include two Americans brutally beheaded by ISIS, the Boston Marathon bombing shaking the nation and more than a dozen attempted terrorist attacks in New York City that have been averted thanks to the diligence of men and women working new leads every day.

According to new polls, 47% of Americans feel we are less safe now than we were before 9/11.

94% of Americans say they have been tracking ISIS developments since the beheadings.

According to Carlson, President Obama needs to speak to that 94% of Americans tonight and actually announce a strategy to combat ISIS. He needs to lead this nation.

He’s made it clear that he is not a wartime president, but, as Carlson concluded, “he must step up to the plate before it’s too late.”
