Larry King on Joan Rivers: ‘The World Was Her Oyster, & She Devoured It’
Larry King was on “Shepard Smith Reporting” to pay tribute to comedic legend Joan Rivers, who passed away today at the age of 81.
King, who knew Rivers for 45 years, described her as a glorious woman.
“She never acted her age or looked her age. She was very, very funny, was a great mother and a great grandmother,” he said, adding that “we’ll never see her likes again.”
King said that Rivers took no prisoners, and that there was nothing she didn’t do.
“The world was her oyster and she devoured it,” he said.
King also discussed the falling out between Johnny Carson and Rivers. Listen to more above.
