New York Daily News is the latest publication which says it will no longer use the “Redskins” name when referring to the Washington, D.C., NFL team.

Judge Andrew Napolitano said most Native Americans don’t find this name offensive, and that he has a problem with people who find the name offensive trying to use the government to make the team change its name.

“That’s what offends me because of that piece of paper I’m so fond of called the Constitution.”

He said, “This is a private decision for the owners of that team. It is not a role for government.”

“Are people in the south offended by the name New York Yankees? I mean where is this gonna stop?”

Napolitano said if people want to boycott the team, that’s their privilege to do so.
