In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly advised on what the U.S. should do about both ISIS and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

O’Reilly discussed the beheadings of two American journalists by ISIS, both of which were posted online. He said that “Muslim terrorists are as barbaric as the Third Reich.”

“By killing two Americans, ISIS has declared war on the USA, so President Obama and Congress should declare war on them and other Muslim terror groups,” O’Reilly stressed. Once war is declared, the U.S. must fight it smart, he said.

“The Factor” host remarked that the U.S. must send a powerful message to the world and stop the nonsense.

“There is no question that Mr. Obama does not want to wage war. He wants to punt, to deflect the attack on Americans onto the international community,” O’Reilly said.

But O’Reilly said that Americans must demand that their president protect them.

“Teddy Roosevelt's basic philosophy was: speak softly and carry a big stick. With the Obama administration, we basically have: speak incessantly and carry nothing.”

O’Reilly thinks Americans must understand two things: Muslim terrorism preaches that it’s good to murder Americans, and Obama has been far too passive in the face of threats to the U.S.

“The Factor” host remarked that Obama is once again calling for an international consensus to deal with Putin instead of leading efforts to stop him.

“It's worth noting that 75 years ago this week, Adolf Hitler invaded Poland, starting World War II. Putin is using the Hitler playbook, moving his forces into weaker countries to seize territory,” O’Reilly said.

According to O’Reilly, Obama seems confused about how international terrorism can destabilize the world. He said it’s obvious that Obama has no strategy and is putting Americans in danger.
