Krauthammer said Obama fits his view of the world and understanding of reality to his own preexisting ideology.

According to Krauthammer, the president doesn’t believe America has the moral right to intervene in the world. Plus,he has a narcissistic streak, seeing himself as the leader who ends wars.

“Obama creates a reality around himself," Krauthammer explained. "He’s surrounded by sycophants."

"Nobody of any stature in his administration will tell him he’s wrong, will tell him when he gets the briefings for over a year on ISIS and the growing threat that it is not something he can ignore.”

Krauthammer said that when American power is withdrawn from a part of the world - whether it’s Iraq, Syria, Libya or Russia - there are consequences. He said the president doesn't understand that we are the great power in the world and must see ourselves as such.

“What the world wants to see is actions, not words,” Krauthammer asserted.
