The Ice Bucket Challenge just got presidential as George W. Bush was soaked by the former First Lady and then nominated his predecessor and friend, Bill Clinton.

The 43rd president was challenged by his daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, along with countless other Americans.

Bush joked that for Clinton's birthday, which was yesterday, he'd get him a bucket of ice water.

The Ice Bucket Challenge was started by former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2012.

The challenge is to dump a bucket of ice cold water on your head in the name of ALS awareness, then post the video on social media and nominate friends to do the same.

Those who refuse the challenge are asked to make a donation to an ALS charity.
