Hollywood A-listers, including Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Madonna, have sent open letters and taken to social media to denounce Israel's actions and call for a cease fire in the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

On "Outnumbered" today, Kennedy, Sandra Smith, Andrea Tantaros, Jedediah Bila and #oneluckyguy David Webb discussed these celebrities' comments.

Smith pointed out that Hamas was never mentioned and said that these celebrities are out of touch and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Bila said people who influence culture have a responsibility to be informed on the issues.

Tantaros agreed and stated that "Hamas is getting exactly what it wants."

The Hollywood stars have a huge platform, according to Tantaros, and could put public pressure on Hamas, instead of helping them win the PR battle.

“Hollywood is essentially people living in a bubble and speaking to the willfully uninformed," Webb said.
