TSA Offering Up to $15K for Best Ideas to Speed Up Security
Do you have an idea for speeding up the dreaded process of getting through airport security? If so, the TSA wants to hear from you.
The agency is crowdsourcing in hopes of finding ways to move passengers through airport security more quickly. The first place prize for the best idea is $5,000, and the TSA is offering additional prizes of $2,500 each, adding up to a total of $15,000.
Crowdsourcing has been used by NASA and cancer research groups in the past.
The TSA has already received about 200 different ideas. The deadline to submit your ideas is Aug. 15.
