A woman who was booked on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 that was shot down in Ukraine near the Russian border missed her flight when she was held up in Amsterdam. She gave a brief interview, holding her sleeping infant.

My Fox Boston reported:

Close to 300 people lost their lives, [...] and at least three infants. A woman who was supposed to be on board is very grateful that she missed her flight.

[…]

She was supposed to head home to Kaula Lumpar, Malaysia with her baby.

She says she got held up in Amsterdam, and just missed the doomed flight.

"I'm shaking, I don't even know what to do," she said. "I feel physically sick."

She went on to say that she feels like she's been given a second chance.
