A “Special Report” panel this evening discussed Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, which was reportedly shot down in Ukraine today, killing 298 people.

“There’s one scenario that fits all the facts,” Charles Krauthammer said, speculating that pro-Russian separatists shot down the plane, probably by accident.

“This is part of the festival of the rebels playing with their new toys on which they could only have been trained by the Russians,” he said.

Krauthammer said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is supporting and arming the rebels.

“The bottom line is that this is an indirect Russian attack,” he said.

Judge Andrew Napolitano said this downed plane is more evidence that Putin is a killer.

“Instead of running around lower Manhattan raising money for Democrats, the president should get on national television and call Vladimir Putin a killer. He should isolate him diplomatically and put him back in the black hole from which he came,” Napolitano said.

Juan Williams said he doesn’t think it’s a problem that Obama is fundraising.

“Presidents react to crises, but they don’t necessarily cancel everything they’re doing,” Williams said, adding that Obama is paying attention to what’s going on.

“He’s had no reaction. He’s had no reaction to anything that I can tell in the last six months,” Krauthammer said.
