A 3-year-old in Tennessee is being hailed as a hero after he helped save an elderly man trapped in a hot car.

Bob King, who has battled cancer, suffered from strokes and wears a pacemaker, was trapped in his car in a Knoxville church parking lot with temperatures in the 90s. He saw 3-year-old Keith Williams, and called out for help.

Keith ran to get his pastor, who was able to unlock the door from the outside.

“I’m very thankful,” King said. “I don’t know how long it had been. I’d say it probably be another 20 minutes sitting in there if he hadn’t notified somebody.”

“I saved his life,” Keith said.

Meanwhile, in Texas, three children were rescued from two different hot cars.

In Katy, shoppers noticed two kids crying inside of a hot Jeep at a strip mall, and they smashed in windows to rescue the little boy and girl. Witnesses say their mother was getting a haircut.

In nearby Houston, police arrested another mother, who knowingly left her 1-year-old boy in a hot car in a shopping center. Firefighters broke a window to rescue the child, who is said to be doing fine.
