A California 911 operator kept her calm when - get this - she fielded a call from her fiance while their 14-month-old son was choking. Britney Melchor was training an employee at the dispatch center when the call came in and she was shocked to hear the trainee take down her own address.

Melchor kept her cool though, quickly getting on the line to make sure paramedics arrived at her home. Her son, Maverick, had swallowed a washer while his father was moving some furniture.

Melchor's fiance, Robert Kimball, was able to clear his son's airway just as help arrived.
