Bill O’Reilly: ‘Southern Border is a Sieve’
In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly discussed two dangerous situations facing our nation.
First, O’Reilly said that Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is openly threatening America, but the Bush administration let the terrorist go, calling it “another big screw-up in the war on terror.”
O’Reilly said Islamic State group is well-armed, well-funded and wants to kill Americans. He said al-Baghdadi doesn’t fear the USA, and called the Iraq crisis “a brutal situation that is about to get much worse.”
The second situation O’Reilly discussed is the immigration crisis. This weekend, Border Patrol agent Hector Garza openly criticized the administration, saying the government is basically aiding, abetting and facilitating the smuggling of illegal aliens.
This fiscal year, 300,000 undocumented aliens are expected to be apprehended by Border Patrol, including 50,000 children, a 90 percent increase from fiscal year 2013. O’Reilly noted that the Obama administration seems unprepared to deal with the problem.
“The truth is that President Obama has lost control of the process. America is now being threatened by terrorists once again, and the terrorists believe they’re winning. The southern border is a sieve. Mexico is facilitating hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens coming into this country. But what’s the administration doing to Mexico? Nothing.”
O’Reilly said America must wake up soon and demand better performance from its elected officials.
