Friday's earthquake in California interrupted a high school production of "Bye Bye Birdie."

The students from Brea Olinda High School, in Brea, Calif., were in the middle of a scene from the musical when the earthquake hit, causing the school to cancel the production and evacuate the building.

Scientists are now warning that if a magnitude 7.5 earthquake hits California, it could be significantly more catastrophic and deadly than they previously thought.
