Officials in New York City have been left red-faced by a New Jersey teen who was able to make his way through through several layers of security at the World Trade Center site. Justin Casquejo, 16, eventually made it all the way to the top of the nation's tallest building, hanging out for two hours and taking pictures.

His caper began at around 4am Sunday when he squeezed through a fence at a Ground Zero construction site. From there, he located the elevator that would take him to the 88th floor. The elevator operator apparently did not check Casquejo for any ID and let him go up.

From there, he was apparently able to walk up the stairs to the 104th floor, where a security guard was unbelievably asleep. That guard has been fired, the New York Post reported.
