Aviation expert Kathleen Bangs was on “Hannity” to answer viewers’ questions surrounding missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Viewer Emily Hunt asked what steps officials would take to ensure that this doesn’t happen again, and Bangs said there would likely be more background screening around the world.

Cathie Beckman asked why airplanes aren’t equipped with multiple black boxes that can’t be turned off. Ironically, Bangs said they can be turned off for safety reasons.

Vivek Saxena asked if debris will start to wash ashore soon if the plane crashed. Bangs said it likely would, but that it would be hard to discern whether or not the debris was from the plane and could lead to bogus claims.
