It has been 100 years since the launch of the U.S.S. Texas, one of the most famous battleships of all time.

The U.S.S. Texas fought in World War I and World War II.

Battleship Texas Foundation executive director Bruce Bramlett and retired U.S. Navy veteran and former U.S.S. Texas crew member Howard Mills were on “America’s News Headquarters” today to discuss the ship.

“This old lady has been around a long time, and she’s gonna be around a long time more,” Mills said.

Preserving the battleship requires a lot of donations. To contribute, visit BattleshipTexas.org.
