Hannah Anderson, 16, spoke out in a 'Today' show interview on Thursday, just weeks after family friend James DiMaggio killed her mother and brother before kidnapping her.

In the interview, the teen claimed that the 13 phone calls search warrants revealed she exchanged with DiMaggio leading up to the incident weren't actually phone calls, but rather text messages.

"The phone calls weren't phone calls. They were texts, because he was picking me up from cheer camp and he didn't know where I was so I had to tell him I was going to be at the gym and not in front of the school," she said.

Now, DiMaggio's family is requesting a DNA test be done to determine whether or not Hannah is actually DiMaggio's biological daughter.
