Laura Toone tried to break up a fight between her dog and another dog when she was attacked.

“I begged my daughters to call 911 and they’re four, so they were quite afraid to touch my phone because it was covered in my own blood,” she said.

Her son Bentley used FaceTime on her phone to call his mother’s friend, Connie Guerrero.

Having received prank FaceTime calls from Bentley in the past, Guerrero said, “Something inside of me just told me that I needed to answer this FaceTime. All I could see was his little forehead. […] It was quiet for a little bit and then I hear Laura screaming.”

She called 911 and Bentley was there to open the door to let the first responders in.
