Rapper Lil Wayne is no stranger to the spotlight, and it's not rare for the 30-year-old artist to be in its glow for outrageous antics. But his latest music video for "God Bless Amerika" has a lot of people upset at his unpatriotic performance.

In the video taped in New Orleans, Wayne sings in front of an American flag before it's dropped to the ground; once it falls, he continues stepping on it.

The act isn't the only thing drawing attention of the bad kind. Some of the lyrics to the song include lines like this:

"My country tis of thee / Sweet land of kill 'em all and let 'em die / God Bless Amerika / This so godless Amerika"

Moments after the video footage was released, tens of thousands of fans and critics alike took to Twitter to react, many calling for a boycott of his music.
