On Wednesday night's O'Reilly Factor, Col. Ralph Peters made an argument for connecting the dots between the actions of the likes of Pfc. Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden to the U.S. education system, claiming that schools are teaching children about the lacking values in America's endeavors.

"Our culture ... has created this idea that our government is bad," he said, later adding, "We keep bombarding our children with the idea that America is not the greatest country in the world, but among the worst."

Peters claims that this notion seeping into the nation's subconscious could have contributed to the actions of Manning and Snowden's, who are even viewed by some as heroes instead of traitors.
