If there is such a thing as "fashion news" on Capitol Hill, this may be it. Congressman Mark Sanford (R-SC) was forced to enter the House chamber wearing some slick running gear after a vote scheduled for a later time got moved up.

Sanford ran straight to the Capitol from the gym, throwing on a blazer before he entered the actual chamber. (PHOTOS BELOW)

We don't know about you, but we've always loved the blazer-and-sneakers look.

Sanford won a special election for the congressional seat in May after he was forced to resign as governor of the state when a scandal involving an extra-marital affair came to light.
