Obama Reacts to Choosing Between Gov't Shutdown and ObamaCare Funding
President Barack Obama took questions from members of the press on Friday afternoon, touching on potential efforts by Republicans to allow the government to shut down in order to defund ObamaCare. CNN's Jessica Yellin asked whether or not the president would allow such a shutdown in order to ensure his healthcare law kept its funding.
The president, however, said he wouldn't "engage in hypotheticals, adding that the American people would "have a difficulty understanding" such a tactic.
"I have confidence that common sense in the end will prevail," he said.
