The curvy couch got an unlikely guest this morning, but a welcomed one. Joe Scarborough, the former Republican congressman and host of MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' sat down with Steve Doocy and Elisabeth Hasselbeck to discuss his new book, The Right Path: From Ike to Reagan.

"I'm supposed to be on the other side of the street, right?!" Scarborough joked.

The Right Path focuses on how Republicans can win again through looking at the presidencies of two men, whom Scarborough calls competent and 'conservative with a small "c."' Those two things are key, he asserted, in the party rising to the top once again.

"Moderate Republicans don't win elections," he said.  "You've got to be conservative ideologically, but you've got to be moderate temperamentally, like Reagan. Reagan always understood that."

What about his predictions for the party in 2016? Watch the interview to find out who he thinks could take the election.
