A man attending Monday's night's Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies game at Turner Field in Atlanta died after falling more than 60 feet from an upper deck and landing in the players' parking lot.

FoxNews.com reports that the deceased is 30-year-old Ronald Lee Homer Jr., the son of Connie Homer of Conyers, Ga. Homer reportedly told The Associated Press that Ronald was her only son, and had phoned her from the game on Monday to tell her the rain that had delayed the game for approximately two hours was starting to let up and he was preparing to go back in the stadium.

Homer said her son had been a die-hard Braves fan his whole life and worked as a landscaper outside of Atlanta.
