This week, the nation marks the anniversary of September 11. Not only is it a day when we remember those who lost their lives on that day in 2001, but it's also a day when Americans and New Yorkers in particular honor the men and women who serve as first responders.

One of the oldest and yet perhaps least recognized institutions in New York is a NYPD and NYFD football league known as The Finest. The team consists of police officers and fire fighters and plays only for the love of the game, not a paycheck, proving that not only do they give their all when they're on the clock and in the field, but that the same holds true when they're on the field.

Tonight, a documentary called Being the Finest will premiere on Fox Sports 1, giving an inside look at the league. On this morning's Fox and Friends, Brian Kilmeade sat down with some of the stars of the doc for their take on the film ... and he got a heaping dose of inspiration in the process.
