GUILTY: Maj. Nidal Hasan Convicted of Murder for Fort Hood Shooting
Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan convicted on all 13 charges of pre-meditated murder in the Fort Hood shooting; he was also convicted on all counts of attempted murder.
This verdict, handed down Friday afternoon, means that Hasan will now be eligible for the death penalty for his crimes. The shooting at the Texas army base left 13 people dead and 30 others wounded.
Court will be called back into session on Monday for sentencing as it enters the penalty phase.
