Two former NAVY SEALS, now working as security contractors, were found dead on the ship made famous by the movie "Captain Phillips."
The tragic discovery was made earlier this week when the Maersk Alabama was docked in the Seychelles, an island northeast of Madagascar off the African coast.
The men were working for the Virginia-based Trident Group, which advertises security services for shipping companies. The company confirmed the deaths.
The Maersk Alabama gained national recognition after a pirate hijacking off the coast of Somalia in 2009. The captain at the time, Richard Phillips, was held hostage by pirates before a daring rescue by a Navy SEAL team.
