Texas Gov. Rick Perry spoke to Sean Hannity tonight about rumors that there’s bad blood between him and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Perry said that’s not true. “We are working towards a common goal, and that is to elect as many republicans as we can [in] November 2014,” he said.
He continued, “Are we competitors? You better believe it … but at the end of the day, we’re all on the same team and that’s what really matters.”
Perry said the states that are creating jobs are led by Republican governors. He said Republicans and their policies are performing at a higher level.
Hannity and Perry discussed how Texas has no income tax and a near-$12 billion surplus.
