Environmental Working Group Executive Director Heather White was on A Healthy You today to discuss the 12 hormone-altering chemicals: BPA, atrazine, perchlorate, arsenic, dioxin, mercury, phthalates, fire retardants, lead, glycol ethers, perflourinated chemicals and organophosphate pesticides.

BPA, a synthetic estrogen, is found in receipts. It is associated with heart disease and obesity.
