Veteran Says He Mistakenly Brought Gun Into Canada; Could Face Jailtime
A United States Army veteran is facing up to three years in prison after he says he mistakenly brought a gun into Canada.
Louis DiNatale says he and his wife were on a road trip to Vermont when they took a wrong turn and ended up at the Canadian border. He said he forgot that his .380 handgun was in his wife’s car, so when a Canadian border agent asked him when he last had a weapon, he said “Earlier that week.”
The border agent searched the car and found the gun.
Defense attorney Jonna Spilbor and Fox News legal analyst Arthur Aidala were on Fox and Friends to discuss the case. Watch what they had to say in the video above.
