‘Jeopardy!’ Contestant’s Game-Winning Strategy Upsets Fans
Game show hero or villain? “Jeopardy!” champion Arthur Chu’s game-winning strategy involves playing mind games on his opponents, sparking criticism from some of the show's fans.
Chu, 30, won more than $100,000 over four nights so far.
“We’re playing for money out there,” Chu said. “Between $10,000 and getting haters on Twitter, the $10,000 is gonna be more important to me.”
Chu uses the “Forrest Bounce” to win. Instead of going down the board in a straight line, he jumps around looking for Daily Doubles and betting strange amounts. Chu said strategy plays a big role in the game show.
