Pew Study: Gov’t Restrictions on Religion Increased 87.5% From 2009-2012
Is hostility toward religion on the rise in the United States?
According to the Pew Research Center, government restrictions on religion have increased 87.5 percent from 2009 to 2012, and negative social attitudes toward religion have gone up 26 percent in the same timeframe.
Father Jonathan Morris says he believes more people are self-identifying as agnostic and atheist. He says he has seen more government restrictions under the current administration.
