Let's hear it for this member of the United States Air Force, who sprang into action when a thief tried to swipe some jewelry from a New Jersey T.J. Maxx store.

The suspect entered the store wearing dark clothing and a ski mask, smashed the jewelry counter, and grabbed $25,000 worth of watches.

He didn't get very far though before the service member tackled him. The suspect got away but not before losing his mask and the bag of loot.

Evesham Township police identified the brave shopper as a U.S. airman, but did not release his name. They're still searching for the robber.
