There are new allegations this morning facing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) over an alleged threat to withhold Hurricane Sandy relief funds from the Democratic mayor of Hoboken, N.J.

Mayor Dawn Zimmer alleges that New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno told her that in order to get the relief funds, she would need to support a Hoboken development project favored by Gov. Christie.

Guadagno denied the allegations this morning, saying they are illogical and will not withstand scrutiny.

Over the weekend, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani characterized all of this as a political witch hunt by Democrats.

On America's Newsroom this morning, Martha MacCallum discussed the new allegations with Karl Rove and former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown.
