‘I’m Not Optimistic’: KT McFarland on Easing Iran Sanctions
The White House says the U.S. and its partners will follow through on their commitment to provide modest sanctions relief to Iran.
Critics warn that the interim deal does not go far enough to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
“Everybody’s been lining up to do business with Iran,” Fox News national security analyst KT McFarland told Bill Hemmer on America’s Newsroom today. She said European businesses and countries have already started making deals with Iran.
“I’m not optimistic, I think we’ve given up the most potent leverage we have in exchange for very little, but time will tell. And the bad result is Iran becomes the dominant alpha dog of the Middle East,” McFarland said.
