A brave puppy is healthy and happy in his forever home after being dragged by a truck for one mile down a major interstate.

Trooper, who was 5 months old at the time, barely survived the incident. He has had seven major surgeries, 20 laser treatments and nearly had to have his leg amputated.

Now, the pup is doing well and has been adopted from the Humane Society of Missouri.

Trooper and his new owner, Greg, joined Fox and Friends this morning to discuss Trooper’s book and calendar, which raise money to help abused and neglected animals at the Humane Society of Missouri.
