Greg Palkot reported this morning that a possible breakthrough is at hand in the suspected kidnapping of Madeleine McCann.

The three-year-old disappeared from a resort in Portugal in 2007 while on vacation with her family. She would be 10 years old today.

British police are getting closer to questioning, and potentially arresting, three suspected burglars who were active in the coastal town of Praia da Luz when McCann was last seen.

Investigators have reportedly zeroed in on the three suspects because their cell phones were "red hot" in the hours after McCann's disappearance.

The Crown Prosecution Service has sent an International Letter of Request to Portuguese authorities seeking permission to arrest the men.
