Maine’s governor is making headlines for saying child labor laws are hurting the economy. He believes kids as young as 12 years old should be able to work.

So how young is too young to start working?

Today on The Five, Eric Bolling was in full support of allowing kids to legally work before age 16.

“In a big part of the country, kids are helping out on the farms and what not. […] It’s about time some of the liberal East Coasters catch wind of this.”

“I disagree with this,” said Greg Gutfeld, joking, “I think that they shouldn’t get a job ‘til they’re 26 because if you’re going to be on your parents' insurance, I don’t want you to get hurt.”

Bob Beckel and Andrea Tantaros, who both started working at a young age, agreed that it helps kids learn the value of money and develop a good work ethic.
